Hey! 

I thought it was about time I introduced myself as the face behind Promiseseeker. I’m Emily, wife to Dan, and Mum to three awesome kids. Originally from the UK, we moved to pastor a church on Auckland’s North Shore, NZ in 2017.

I have always, always loved the Bible and Promiseseeker was born out God being on my case for a few years to get stuck in the Word and get writing. My heart for Promiseseeker is that it’s a place to dig deeper and discover the promises and life-changing truth that God has given us within His Word. 

I’m convinced that if we truly grasp and believe who God says He is, and who He says we are, that our lives will be fully free, full of purpose, and a genuine blessing to others. 

I love nothing more than seeing people set free through encounters with Jesus to then go and be all He has called them to be in their own spheres of influence.

You’ll notice some changes to Promiseseeker in the coming days and weeks but it’s still the same ‘me’ behind the scenes. Just looking to spend a bit more time encouraging and engaging with the Word and with you on this journey!
