There’s a company here in NZ who specialise in Emergency and First Aid Kits. They’re called “Grab & Go” and their tag line is “Be Prepared”. It got me thinking about whether we fully appreciate what we have to hand to help us in our preparation for life… We have access to the Word of God. The Word of life. The Word that can illuminate and light our path. Whether you like your faithful, hold-it-in-your-hand hard copy, or you’re a Bible-app kinda person… don’t forget to ‘grab and go’ your sustenance, light, truth, instruction.

An emergency kit is great in an emergency… if you have it to hand. It’s not a lot of use when you’re out and about if it’s sat at home in a ‘safe place’. Don’t take the Word of God for granted. Use it, read it, dwell in its pages… His word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Make sure you grab it before you go this week!
